Abstract (EN)
In highly globalising world, using the limited sources efficiently and obtaining the most output with these limited sources become more demanding in almost every field. Effective use of resources is also important in health sector today as well. Hospitals which are one of the most important institutions of health sector have the highest investment and business costs. Within existing competition atmosphere, hospitals must determine their own efficiency levels and for those of who aren't efficient enough must increase their efficiency with correct methods and data together. In this study, the efficiency of 49 hospitals which have the AI affiliation and dependent to the Ministary of Health were measured with input oriented data envelopment analysis, 12 of the hospitals are found to be efficient and goals are set for the remaining inefficient hospitals to foster their efficiency values.
