Fatin's Tezkire

Tezkire of Fatîn is written addition to tezkire of Sâlim and Safâyî written in H. 1271. The work named Hâtimetü'l-Eş'ar contains poets who lived the time of Sultan Abdülmecid. According to the researchs the original work has not found in librarys. On the other hand printed copies of work are found in many libraries. Haluk İpekten says that original copy of the Tezkire was found in Nationel Library of Viyana 1243 (Flügel, Cat. II. 402). A six-page section named takriz has beginning of Tezkire. After takriz section actually section of Tezkire is begining. Fatîn had started to Tezkire with hamdele and salvele. Folloving this, describes the merit of the poem. Contrast of other tezkire writters, Fatin after writing a lyric poet of one or two couplet poetry, had described their biography. Biographies are usually held tight.
