Abstract (EN)

For a numerical evaluation in Photogrammetric Works, some calculations must be done after taking pictures. To make these calculations consists of transformation between different perpendicular coordinate systems. In photogrammetry which the overall aim is to produce map with the help of images, in other words to reach from image coordinates to land coordinates, this process can be achieved by two methods. In the analog method that can be named as the first method it is possible to reach with mutual and absolute orientation process in stereo assessment tools. As secondary in analytical method with the condition of linearity and coplanarity the numerical transition is provided from image coordinates to land coordinates. In this study, it is aimed at applicability of Rational Function Model (RFM) in the aerial photographs which is one of the mathematical models applied to satellite images and the comparison of this model with the other traditional methods. In this content, for the work the pair of panchromatic aerial photographs taken as overlap with Zeiss RMK - Top15 analog aerial camera were used that belongs to Kırşehir, Kaman district. In practice, analysis of data have been made using nonparametric mathematic models with different sets of GCPs-CPs for the mentioned image pair. Ground Control Points are supplied from 1:1000 scaled maps that belong to Kaman district. Control and Checking points are selected in such a way to form various combinations at different numbers and directions. Using MATLAB software, the codes have been written seperately for the used mathematical models. Using different sets of GCPs-CPs, the comparision of RFM that is used an alternative method for photogrammetric procedures and methods with other mathematical models are discussed. Two-dimensional error vectors are formed according to the differences between land coordinates of the points and the coordinates found as a result of balance. In the end when we looked at the test results, the Rational Function Model gave sensitive results than traditional models.
