Özet (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the point of view of aerospace and defense organizations in Turkey on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System applications, the problems encountered, and the benefits provided during the certification process, by making a descriptive analysis through questionnaires filled by the employees. The outputs obtained as a result of the surveys were statistically analyzed and interpreted. ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, quality concept, quality formation, history, and requirements were examined and the requirements of AS9100 Aerospace, Defense and Space Quality Management System were mentioned within the scope of the thesis. Companies comply with management systems in line with their growth strategies and go through the certification process. It has been observed that the benefits such as increasing quality and environmental awareness, ensuring customer satisfaction, along with the implementation of the systems in the aviation and defense sector are understood by the employees of the sector. In line with the results of the research and surveys, it has been seen that the companies adopt the quality perspective, and have knowledge about management systems, but studies should be done to increase awareness about environmental management systems.
