The effect of green approaches on experiential satisfaction and intention to repurchase in airline passenger transportation

The increase in airline use has also brought environmental concerns to the fore. More and more knowledge of environmental adverse effects of the company in this area, the increase in consumer preferences and the transition to green approaches significantly affects sustainability and competition in this area. In this respect, the study aimed to reveal the determinants of passengers' perceptions of the environmental impacts caused by airline transportation and their preferences in choosing companies that adopt green approaches for more environmental activities. Based on the environmental sensitivities of the passengers, the measurements used in the studies on this subject and the requirements for sustainability were tried to be explained. The scale, translated and developed from English to Turkish, was applied to 530 passengers travelling at Gaziantep Airport. Demographic distributions, factor and correlation analyses of the data obtained by SPSS 21 package program, the relationships between sub variables were evaluated by establishing a structural equality model with the SmartPLS package program. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the green perceived value and green corporate image had the strongest decisive effect on the green experiential satisfaction. In addition, the main factor influencing repurchase intension was interaction quality. Furthermore, it was seen that green experiential satisfaction positively affected the repurchase intention.
