Abstract (EN)

Helicobacter pylori (HP) is an infectious disease that generates chronic inflammation in gastric and duodenal mucosal tissue. It has been proven that HP causes peptic and gastric ulcer, gastric atrophy and metaplasia, chronic gastritis, gastric carcinoma and lymphomas. Endoscopy is the gold standart diagnostic technic for detecting these structural lesions. NLR and PLR are simple and reliable indicators of inflammation. In this study, we aimed to ascertain the relationship between HP infeciton and gastric mucosal lesions established with endoscopy, NLR, PLR, hematologic parameters and tumor markers CEA and CA 19-9.
