Abstract (EN)

Today, when rapid changes are experienced, executive nurses who are open to innovation and have leadership potential are needed. The aim of the research in this direction is to develop a measurement instrument that will determine the nurses' views and the innovative leadership levels of the manager nurses. Descriptive factor analysis of the study was conducted with a total of 308 nurses out of 1569 working nurses working in Trabzon hospitals. The confirmatory factor analysis was completed with a total of 307 nurses out of 1282 nurses in Erzurum. Test-retest test was conducted with 38 nurses as a separate sample in Erzurum. The data were collected through the Personal Information Form, the draft Innovative Leadership Scale and the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire. In the analysis of the data, content validity index was tested for context validity, explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis was tested for construct validity, correlation analysis was tested for similar scale measuring and bottom and top quartile 27% analysis was tested for item discrimination. Cronbach Alpha, Spearman Brown, Guttman, item-total correlation tests and test-retest analyzes were used for reliability. According to the findings, the content validity index was 0.80 when the surface validiy of the draft scale was ensured. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value was 0.92, the Bartlett test was x2=6907.08 (p<0.05) and the anti-image correlation values were 0.81-0.95 for the exploratory factor analysis. As a result, the scale was formed with 43 items and 5 sub-scales. For the confirmatory factor analysis, adjusted chi-square (Χ2/Sd) value was 2.57, root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) value was 0.07, comparative fit index (CFI) value was 0.89, and the structure of scale was confirmed according to these results. For parallel form method, r=0.80. Also, Spearman-Brown=0.89, Guttman Split-Half=0.89 and Cronbach Alpha=0.96. The itemtotal correlation values were 0.32-0.79 and the test-retest value was r=0.72, p=0.000. In addition, the average score of executive nurses is 3.60±0.69. As a result, the innovative leadership level scale of executive nurses is a valid and reliable measure.
