Analysis of stress factors among handball referees

The purpose of this research, Turkey Handball Federation Super League 1 and League 2. League is involved in the investigation of the stress factors of handball referees. This research studies the universe, depending on the Turkey Handball Federation, B and C are those who served add 220 handball referee. The sample of the study is composed of 42 women and 78 men and 120 arbitrators selected by random methods. The socio-demographic data form formed by the researcher and the consultant and the individual environmental and organizational stress sources scale of 50 questions developed by Çakmak in 2011 and 5 sub-dimensions of Likert-type referees consisting of 3 sub-dimensions, individual, environmental and organizational, were used in collecting the research data. As a result of the research, there was a significant difference between the genders in terms of individual factors. It has been determined that there is a difference between environmental and organizational factors and marital status. It was determined that there was no significant difference between stress factors and age variable. It was determined that there was no significant difference between stress factors and education level variable. It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the stress factors and the years of refereeing between the scores of the referees who have been refereeing for 6-10 years and 16 years or more. It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the stress factors and the profession performed outside of refereeing in terms of individual factors between the scores of the referees who are coaches and students. A significant difference was found between the stress factors and the situation of doing sports in the refereeing branch between the scores of the referees doing sports in a different branch and the referees doing sports in the individual branch. It was determined that there was a significant difference between the stress factors and the refereeing classification in terms of individual factors between B classification and C classification scores. It was found that there was a significant difference between stress factors and reason for refereeing in terms of individual factors between hobby and financial gain scores.
