Abstract (EN)
Throughout history, people have been engaged in different inquiries and searches about the world and themselves. In the beginning, in the history of philosophy, philosophers, unlike mythical discourses and polytheistic beliefs, thought about nature and put forward theories about nature. Heraclitus, one of the pre-Socratic philosophers, mentions fire as the first principle of nature. According to him, there is a constant change in the universe. In Heraclitus' teachings, formation and change have an important place. According to Heraclitus, the universe is in a continuous, universal change and transformation. He states that everything changes at any moment and is in a state of being. In our thesis, the concepts of logos and motion in Herakleitos' teaching will be centered, and the expansion of these concepts, their relationship with each other and their relationship with arkhe will be revealed with the literature review method. In doing so, the philosophical achievements of the Miletian School before Heraclitus will be discussed and compared with the Elea School. Then, his influence on his contemporary Pythagoras and later Sophists, Plato and Aristotle, will be examined. Key words: logos, motion, arkhe, change, conflict of opposites,
