Abstract (EN)

Due to the increasing world population and fossil fuel reserves forming a decreasing curve, they have sought alternative searches as an energy source. The rate of formation of fossil fuels does not show a process parallel to the increase in consumption amount over the years. Today, no matter how alternative suggestions have been put forward, it has not been possible to choose them yet. The consumption of fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum, natural gas, which come to the fore in terms of energy production, and the rapid depletion of these resources in nature have made it difficult for us to use renewable energy sources. When the advantages of these energy sources are examined, one of its most important features is that they can be used as hybrid. Hybrid systems allow the use of different energy sources together and the integration of renewable energy sources into the existing system. This study provides information about examples of hybrid renewable energy systems and how to integrate them into existing systems. As a result of important financial supports, these systems have started to be established and used today; however, the infrastructure and strengthening of research and development activities should be increased for the installation of these systems. As the stability of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar depends on the ambient conditions, it increases the energy supply security in terms of transmission and distribution with its integration into smart grids. In this study, besides the modeling of renewable energy systems, their integration into smart grids was also examined.
