Transcription and evaluation of Ruse Court Records registry number R52 (Hijri 1147-1148 Gregorian 1734-1735)

Court records have an important place among the documents that reveal the social, economic and political structure of the state in the period when records are recorded. However, it includes the cases involving day to day events and documents such as correspondence, complaints and assignments made with the capital. In addition, court records are a fundamental resource that provides us with information about the Ottoman State's current situation and the position of the Kadilik authorities in the public and state. In terms of reviewing and interpreting historical events, the sharia registers also have a significance in this regard. So far, many sharia registers have been deemed worthy of study due to these features. We also aim to contribute to the work done in this field and to be a source in this field with the study called "Transcription And Evaluation Of Ruse Court Records Registry Number R52 (Hijri 1147-1148 Gregorian 1734-1735)". One of the main subjects in the book is the correspondence with Istanbul for preparations for military campaign to iran and logistics activities. This is followed by lawsuits, avârız records and estates related to the issues encountered in social life. In this context, information and analysis were provided on the Ruse city's social and economic situation and military preparations in the first half of the eighteenth century.
