The investigation of Hidayet Karakuş's stories in the main components of children literature

In this study, it is aimed to examine the stories in the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş in terms of the basic elements of children's literature. In the research, document analysis and descriptive analysis methods were used. In the light of the information obtained from theoretical books, the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş were examined and examined in terms of the basic elements of children's literature. The scope of the study consists of examining the stories in the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş. The sample was selected from the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş. 70 stories in 13 children's books were examined. In this research, firstly, books published in the field of children 's literature were examined in order to obtain information about children' s literature. The characteristics of the stories in the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş in the sample were determined and noted. Stories of Hidayet Karakuş; age group, illustrator, place of publication, year of publication, publisher, number of pages, size, paper, painting, abstract, subject, subject, message, heroes, space, language and expression. The information obtained from the works examined in terms of the basic elements of children's literature are classified. It was concluded that the stories in the children's books of Hidayet Karakuş were suitable for children's literature in terms of their external structure features.
