Abstract (EN)
In this MSc thesis, barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), oat (Avena sativa), rye (Secale cereale L.) and triticale (Triticosecale Wittmack.) were germinated by hydroponic method. On 4th, 8th and 12th of germination, the amount of hydroponic feed produced, nutrient changes and water efficiency ratio were examined. When the grains were compared, the amount of green fodder produced per kg grain on the 12th day was 4.85, 4.03, 3.20, 2.81 and 7.14 kg for barley, wheat, oats, rye and triticale, respectively (P <0.01). The DM (%) - ME (Kcal / kg KM) values of green mass on the 12th day were determined as 14.12-2724, 16.17-2908, 17.21-2920, 24.00-3114 and 7.55- 2476 (P <0.01), respectively. The water utilization rate (g water / g green feed), 11.11, 13.43, 16.92, 19.15 and 7.56 values (P <0.01) were obtained in cereals. In hydroponic green fodder production, it was determined that it can be harvested from the 7th day according to the biomass mass obtained by considering water economy and labor. With the decrease in the dry matter content of cereals germinated, although the ratio of crude protein, crude oil and minerals in dry matter increased, there was a decrease in quantity. The reason for this is thought to be due to the fact that it cannot meet the nutrients required during growth from the network water and uses the reserve found in the seed. When the grains were compared, it was observed that triticale was the best with respect to biomass production.
