Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of story mapping method through video feedback on the reading comprehension skills of intellectually disabled children. The study group consists of three 14-year-old students (one girl and two boys) who have mild intellectual disability. In the study, multiple probe design, one of the single subject research designs, is employed. The independent variable of the study is the implementation of story mapping method through video feedback whereas the dependent variable is the reading comprehension skills of the three students with mild intellectual disabilities. The findings of the study indicated that the implementation of the story mapping method through video feedback was effective on the reading comprehension skills of the three students. Further, the social validity findings indicate that the subjects of the study and their teachers have positive opinions about the effect of the implementation of the story mapping method through video feedback on reading comprehension skills.
