Abstract (EN)

Swiss Henri Dunant witnessed the war of the Austrian Empire against Solferino on June 24, 1859 against the France-Italy alliance when he traveled to Italy. Dunant wrote the inhumane events that took place during the war with his work "A Solferino Memory" and thus managed to attract the attention of the international public. Dunant's work has influenced all of Europe in a short time and 12 countries such as Belgium, Denmark, France, Hess, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Prussia, Switzerland, Wurtemberg and the USA, which participated in the meeting hosted by the Swiss Federal Government and hosted With the signature of the state, on August 22, 1864, the Geneva Convention was signed and the Red Cross was officially established. On the other hand, the Ottoman Empire signed this contract on 5 July 1865 with the logic that it will not be beneficial or harm. Hilal-i Ahmer's principal provider in Turkey 1876-1877 is April 14, 1877, the days of the Ottoman-Russian War continued. The community started its aid with the Ottoman-Russian War of 1876-1877 and then assisted the army in the 1893 Ottoman-Greek War. The Crescent-i-Ahmer Society increased its aid further and provided aid to both soldiers and civilians in the Tripoli War, the Balkan Wars, the First World and the War of Independence. On the other hand, the organization of the Crescent Society in Ertuğrul Sanjak coincides with the years of the First World War. While donations were made to the branches established within the sanjak by the people of the city, there were also conventions from the Merkez-i Umûmi to help those in need. Again, during and after the Independence War, the immigrants and the needy who came to the accident and the townships within the sanjak were given both in cash and in kind. Moreover, in this period, 28 households were built in Bilecik District for the needy by the Crescent Society.
