Abstract (EN)
Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) told that, "India to a mother with 2 children and stated that one of her two children was Turks and the other was Indians." It is accepted that every socio-cultural heritage in India is a Turkish and Indian work until the British occupation. According to some authors, India and the Muslims there owe their existence and civilization entirely to the Turks. After the Turks conquered India, they built many monuments in this geography. Many architectural structures built during the Delhi Turkish Sultanate and Mughal Empire have survived to the present day and have contributed greatly to the architectural understanding of India. The most beautiful works of India were made during the Turkish period, and the Taj Mahal, considered one of the seven wonders of the world, is an example. The most important part of the art that the Turks brought to India is undoubtedly architecture. Although the architecture in question has more TurkishIslamic features, it appears with a unique feature as a result of the integration of Turkish traditions with the Indian element. As a result of the integration of Indian and Islamic art, he created magnificent works in new and different forms. Although the Turks who came to India did not show much interest in Indian architecture, the Indo-Turkish style is seen together in some works. Here, Turkish architects embodied a new artistic style apart from Ottoman and Iranian art; Turkish architectures in India were built with a pure sense of form, avoiding polychrome. The Turks created innovation in their architectural works by taking into account the landscape that was ignored in Indian architecture, and as a result, they went down in history with their magnificent works.
