Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of leader-member exchange on the effect of servant leadership on affective commitment. In this study, initially the literature was investigated, the variables were explained and a conceptual framework was constituted. Subsequently, a certain sample was selected and field research was conducted. The sample of the research consists of 416 people working in the stores of a company operating in retail industry in Istanbul. The data were collected by survey method and tested with factor analysis, descriptive analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and structural equation model in SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 programs. As a result of this study, it was found that the leader-member exchange has a partially mediating role on the effect of servant leadership on affective commitment.
