Abstract (EN)
In this study, the impact of servant leadership on social innovation is examined within the scope of a research in non-governmental organizations. The study focuses on the definition, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of servant leadership, and the applications of this leadership model. Servant leadership is a leadership style in which leaders prioritize the interests of their employees and society by putting their own interests in the background. This concept, introduced by Robert K. Greenleaf, argues that leadership should be based on a sense of service. The study compares traditional and modern leadership approaches and determines the unique aspects of servant leadership. It also discusses how this leadership model plays a role in increasing motivation in the workplace, strengthening employees' commitment to the organization, and building community. Another important topic of the study is social innovation. Social innovation is an approach that aims to provide innovative solutions to social problems. The history, definition, importance, and applications of innovation in businesses are discussed, and the contribution of social innovation to social change and its role in sustainable development are examined. The study emphasizes the applications of social innovation in different sectors and the effectiveness of these processes in creating social benefits. It emphasizes that public, private, and civil society organizations should work together for the successful implementation of social innovation. In conclusion, this study demonstrates how servant leadership and social innovation complement each other and how these two concepts can work together to maximize social good. It is concluded that servant leadership plays a critical role in the process of building a sustainable society that supports social innovation.
