Abstract (EN)

In this study, similar to Hofmann type M(C4H7NH2)2Pd(CN)4 (M=Ni or Co) host and M(C4H7NH2)2Pd(CN)4.nG (M=Ni or Co; G=benzene, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, 1,3-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, naphthalene, toluen; n=the number of guest) host-guest compounds have been obtained chemically and the infrared spectra of these compounds, the vibrational wave numbers of ligand molecule, Pd (CN) ion and guest molecules have been recorded by FT-IR spectrometer in the spectroscopic region of (4000?400) cm-1. The absorption and the liberation processes of the benzene guest molecule in the host compounds were examined at room temperature by gravimetric method. Otherwise, the molecular structure was supported by making instrumental analysis of host and some host-guest compounds. The thermal behaviors some of these compounds have been investigated by thermal-gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) images of some host and host-guest compounds were given. By analysing the structures of host and host-guest compounds, ligand molecule cyclobutylamine was coordinated to M metal atom from cyclobutylamine?s nitrogen atom, the guest molecules were imprisoned in the structural cavities between the sheets.
