The applicability of electronic elections in Turkey with its legal, political and democratic dimensions

Elections are among the most important elements of democracy. Dec. For this reason, the implementation process of the elections is a matter that requires a lot of attention. In this study, based on the topic of democracy, an attempt has been made to include all the necessary details about the election, and the definition, scope and functioning of democratic elections and election systems have been transferred in detail. Later, the concepts that play an important role in the transfer of technology to society in the process leading to e-selection were examined. After that, the e-government project, which is an important role model in terms of e-selection, was transferred in terms of implementation and functionality. In the other section, the definition of e-selection is made and its brief history is mentioned. After mentioning the dimensions that are considered important in terms of implementing the e-selection process, the countries that have shown experience in e-selection were discussed. In the next section, the e-selection process was examined in the context of reliability. After the "Seçsis" application, which is currently used in Turkey, was transferred, two different models were examined. In the first model review, the e-chest project developed by Havelsan, but not implemented, was discussed. This project has been prepared with domestic and national software in accordance with the type of e-selection model made in a specific place. The project was carried out as a result of serious efforts and as a result of its implementation, rapid results in elections, prevention of duplicate votes, ensuring security, economic savings, etc. were obtained. it is possible that it will bring many benefits with it. In the other model review, the blockchain technology-based e-election system is an alternative application in accordance with the voting model over the Internet. This technology has the ability to solve the trust problem of society with its completely security-oriented and decentralized structure. The main purpose of the work on the axis of all these mentioned issues is to offer solutions to the problems that will arise with the implementation of e-selection in the Republic of Turkey and to draw a path. If e-selection is implemented in Turkey, it is considered important to synthesize technology well and instill it in society. E-selection and technology are an integral part.
