Commanders of the Khulafa-e Rashideen period

This essay that is about the life of commenders who took charge in the Khulafa-i Rashidin era and the importance of them in İslamic History consists of an entry and four chapters. In the First chapter, it mentions about the biographics and battles of the commanders who took place in Ridda Wars during the period of Abu Bakr, the commanders who were missoned to the area of lower Euphrates under the controlled of Sassanid and the commanders who sent to the south and southeast border of Syria. The prominent commanders of this period are: Khalid b. Velid, Yazid İbn Abi Sufyan, Ebû Ubeyde ubadiah ibn el-Jarrah, Amr İbn al-As, Shurahbil İbn Hasana, Musenna b. Harise In the second chapter, you read the biographics of the commanders who effectively roled play in the conquest of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt,Palestine, Azarbaycan and Jazira in period of Caliph Omar. Besides, their huge struggle is referred in details. The prominent commanders of this period were Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas, Abu Musa Ashaari, Iyaz İbn Ganm, An of Numan ibn Muqarrin. Ubeyde ubadiah ibn el-Jarrah and Amr İbn al-As Commanders such maintained their importance in this period. In the third chapter, Islamic territories enlarge from Armania and Khorasan to the borders of China- India and also including from Mediterranean and Red Sea coastline to Sudan, Tunusia and Lebanon. Additionally, it is given information about the life stories of commanders took part in these conquests. The prominent commanders in this period were Muawiyah İbn Abi Sufyan, Abd Allah İbn Amir b. Âmir. In the last chapter, the commanders whom Caliph Ali gave responsibilities in the Battle of Camel, Sıffin, Nahrawan and against attacks of Muawiyah are studied.
