The investigation of 1-50 issues of Hurriyet newspaper (Article-evaluation)

Hürriyet newspaper was published by Yeni Osmanlılar Cemiyeti on 29th June 1868 for the first time. The newspaper that first 88 issues have been emited at Londra, next 12 issues have been published at Geneva has consisted of totally 100 issues. In the study, disclosing the importance of the Turkish newspaper, which was broadcast abroad, and easing the transfer of the newspaper for next generations are aimed. Hürriyet newspaper is not a newspaper that handles usually daily events, so it is a newspaper of ideas and thoughts. Equality, freedom, justice and cconsultancy are the overemphasized subjects. With these notions, Neo-ottomans who has criticised their own period were usually approaching matters from Islamic perspective. The study consists of two parts. In the first part that was titled as "THE INVESTIGATION OF THE 1-50 ISSUES OF HURRIYET NEWSPAPER (ARTICLE)", the first fifty issues of the newspaper has been latinized. In the newspaper, the starts of the many novelties that can be counted as first in our literature have been witnessed. For instance, "Şiir ve İnşa" by Ziya Paşa has been emited in the newspaper for the first time. In addition, the newspaper that has tackled the political and social problems of the period has succeed creating awareness.
