Hurûfu'l-ma'ânî and its meaning value -Specific to surah Taha-

In the Arabic language and rhetoric, letters, one of the word types, have a special place. Therefore, knowing the function of the letters in the Qur'an is effective in understanding the verses correctly. The meaning of Huruf-u me'ani changes according to their position in the sentence. It is possible to know the meanings of the prepositions in the sentence and the related language rules. It is rare to find a study that deals with all the prepositions contained in a surah. In this study, the subtleties that the prepositions, which have a great impact on the understanding of Arabic texts and the verses of the Qur'an, are explained by taking the Surah Taha as an example. Our study consists of introduction, two parts and conclusion. In the introduction, the importance of the prepositions in the Qur'an, the studies in this field and their differences and problematic aspects are examined. In the first chapter, the conceptual, formation and historical process of the letter and its functions in the text are mentioned. The nuances between them were examined by making a semantic analysis of the concepts of hurûfu'l-me'ani, me'ani'l-hurûf, prepositions and instruments. In the second part, the prepositions are examined in terms of î'râb, meaning and rhetoric; The views of Arab linguists are mentioned. The period when all the terms of letters were used and individual works were written is the fourth century. The depth of meaning of a letter emerges from the flow of the sentence. Most of the prepositions in the surah are cer letters. Most of them mean ta'lîl.
