Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this thesis research, the effect of half squat exercises performed with 10% (n= 8) and 20% (n= 8) velocity losses for 6 weeks on the force-velocity profile and performance parameters of female elite handball players was investigated. As a result of the research, statistically significant results were found in the pre- and post-test values of 1 repetition maximal (10.6% HKG; 20% HKG 6.59%) and counter movement jump (10% HKG 18.12%; 20% HKG 8.81%) within the group (p < 0.005). Although the group that trained with 20% loss of velocity (458 repetitions) performed more repetitions than the group that trained with 10% loss of speed (321), no significant results were found in any of the performance variables between the groups and in the 'group x time' interaction (p < 0.005). In addition, in the effect size analysis, it was observed that the 1RM, sprint (10-20-40 meters), agility and CMJ values of 10% HKG exposed to less training load improved more, while the total muscle mass and leg muscle mass values of 20% HKG were observed to be higher. development has been found. As a result, it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the development of 1TM, KHS, sprint, speed and muscle mass of resistance training with different speed loss thresholds between groups and in the dimension of group x time interaction (p < 0.50). However, it was determined that the 1RM and CMJ values in both groups improved statistically significantly within the group (p < 0.50).
