Abstract (EN)

In this study, microstructure and magnetic properties of Fe-2,5Si-2,5B-0,05P-0,2C, 50Ni-42Fe-6Si-2B, 50Fe-42Ni-6Si-2B and 46Ni-46Fe-6Si-2B (wt. %) alloy ribbons produced by rapid solidification technique were investigated. For the production of alloys; Fe (99.99% purity), Ni (99.99% purity), Si (99.99% purity), B (99.99% purity), P (99.99% purity), C (99.99% purity) elements were used. Fe and Ni based casting alloys produced by vacuum induction melting method in electric induction oven are divided into small pieces in cutting machine. These pieces were then melted into the graphite container of the melt spinning machine for rapid solidification and the molten alloy was sprayed onto the copper rotary cylinder under atmospheric pressure using argon gas from the outlet of the 2 mm crucible. Ribbons of 1-8 mm wide and 20-30 μm thick were obtained from the molten alloys hitting the surface of the cylinder with rotation speed of 20 m/s. Alloys produced; X-ray diffraction (XRD) microstructural properties, VSM analysis, MH and MT curves were drawn and magnetic properties were examined. The results of the study showed that the alloy strips produced by melt spinning, which is a fast solidification technique, have partial crystal structure and the general structure of the alloys has amorphous properties.
