Sinop deputies in the First Grand National Assembly of Turkey (T.B.M.M.) and their avtivities

In this thesis, the activities of the deputies elected to the 1st Turkish Grand National Assembly to represent the province of Sinop during their term in the parliament have been studied. The study consists of four parts. In the introduction part, the importance of Sinop in terms of our study period is highlighted and the characteristics of the study are shared, and in the first part, information is given about the geographical features and historical process of Sinop province. In the second chapter, along with the constitutional development process in the history of Turkey, the characteristics, general functioning and structure of the 1st Turkish Grand National Assembly are explained. In the third part, the life stories of the deputies from Sinop, who attended the 1st Turkish Grand National Assembly, are discussed. In the fourth part, the parliamentary speeches and activities of Sinop deputies serving in the 1st Turkish Grand National Assembly are included. As a result, in the study, the activities carried out by our deputies, who carried out their duties until the end of the constituent assembly period, with the effort to represent the province of Sinop are revealed. In this research, primarily the Presidency Ottoman Archive and Presidency Republican Archive Documents, The minutes in Turkish Grand National Assembly Archive are used to support the subject. It is aimed that these documents are simplified and better understood in today's Turkish. At the same time, research works published in Turkey on the subject are used. In addition, published books on the subject, articles in refereed journals, unpublished master's and phd dissertations, internet access, encyclopedic information are used, and the subject is tried to be enriched based on different sources.
