The problem of evil in İbn 'Arabi's metaphysics

The problem of evil is the claim that the evils in the world we live in are incompatible with the absolute good, all-knowing, omnipotent theological understanding of God. This study reveals the understanding of Ibn Arabi's theodice, which is considered to be one of the most important names of mystical philosophy. Ibn 'Arabi, presents a philosophical solution to the evil problem from a philosophical point of view, and from a moral point of view, based on religious texts. In our thesis, how the two solutions were put together by Ibn 'Arabi about the problem will be revealed together with the results. The results of Ibn 'Arabi's philosophical and moral approach are different from each other. The answers reached by Ibn Arabi's philosophical and moral approach are different from each other. Philosophically, Ibn 'Arabi sees existence as merely good. According to this understanding, the question "Is there evil?" is answered philosophically in terms of "no". Morally, the answer to the same question will be "yes." In our study, both answers given by Ibn 'Arabi will be shown together.
