Mushkil al-Qur'an in Ibn Juzayy's tafsir

Our study on the subject of Mushkil al-Qur'an in Ibn Juzayy's tafsir named Et-teshil Li Ulumi't-tenzil consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction section, the aim, subject, method and sources of the thesis were given. In the first part, in order to understand the environment in which Ibn Juzayy lived, the social, political, religious and scientific environment of the period, scholars from whom he received education and students he taught in the scientific environment where he grew up and then the books he wrote in the field of Islamic sciences were mentioned. In the second part, information about what Mushkil al-Qur'an is, its historical progress since its emergence, the reasons of the confusion and the ways of removing it were discussed, and afterwards the names and characteristics of the books written in this field were mentioned. In the third part, the issue of Mushkil al-Qur'an was discussed in the tafsir of Ibn Juzayy, which is the main subject of the thesis. In the determination and explanation of related verses, information was given about the surahs and the verses in general. It was tried to make the subject understandable by giving the evaluations and explanations for understanding the contradiction (confusion). In examining the verse that is the subject of contradiction, the evaluations and explanations of Ibn Juzayy were generally discussed in the last paragraphs.
