The commentary methodology in the commentary on al-Fath al-Mubyn bi-Sharh al-Arba'eyn by Ibn Hajar al-Haytamy

In this study, titled "The commentary methodology in the commentary on Al-Fath Al-Mubyn bı-sharh Al-Arba'eyn by Ibn Hajar al-Haytamy", XVI. The life of Ibn Hajar al-Heytemî, one of the century scholars, and the method he used in his work el-Fethu'l-mubîn bi-şerḥi'l-Erbaʿîn were tried to be determined. The study consists of an introduction and three parts. In the first part of the study, the political and scientific structure of Egypt during the period of Ibn Hajar al-Heytemî's life, Ibn Hajar al-Heytemî's life, scientific personality and his work el-Fethu'l-mubîn bi-şerḥi'l-Erbaʿîn information is given. In the second part of the study, the commentary method of Ibn Hajar al-Heytami will be examined. In this section, it has been examined which commentary method Ibn Hajar al-Heytemî used while commenting on the hadiths in al-Erbaʿun and how he benefited from external sources. In the third part of the study, the scientific acceptances of Ibn Hajar al-Heytami, which he reflected in his commentary during the commentary of the hadiths, were examined. In the conclusion part of the study, it has been tried to determine the position of Ibn Hajar al-Heytemî in the tradition of "Erbaʿûn" commentary based on the information given in the previous sections.
