Relationship between economy and culturel values in İbn-i Khaldun

ABSTRACT Cultural values are the merits ensuring healthy living of society members together.These values allow society members' to overcome the megrims like economic crisis, unemployment and disease, due to provided cooperation and solidarity. Additionally cultural values ease tightly interlocking of society members to one another with healthier way of thinking and get rid and survive during natural disasters like fire, flood, as well as war or emergency situations, having deep affect on people and leave permanent damages. As such these values encourage assistance, solidarity, brotherhood, love, respect and care among society members through clamping them tighter. As much the economic system operates on the base of a careful review of social values, as lowest would be the conflict of interests, and consequently, as easier is social integration established. On the contrary, in case of grounding on objectives and rational principles, without considering the social values, i.e. grounding on interest and profit maximization like in capitalist systems, the economy would face with continuous conflicts, de-motivation and legitimacy crisis.
