The edition critique of İbnu'l-Hayyât el-Karadâğî's manuscript named Mevâhibu'r-Rahmân fî Şerhi Risâleti İlmi'l-Beyân

This thesis includes the edition critique of İbnu'l-Hayyât el-Karadâğî's manuscript named Mevâhibu'r-Rahmân fî Şerhi Risâleti İlmi'l-Beyân. This study of Karadâğî is the commentary of the work called el-Verdetu'n-Neddâra fi'l-Mecâzi ve'l-İsti'âra, which belongs to Molla Ebû Bekir Mîr Rüstemî. Since the commentary is related to the science of rhetoric, the definition, subject, parts, and history of the science of rhetoric are briefly mentioned in our study. Brief information is also given about Ibnu'l-Hayyât's life, his teachers, his students, his books, and the madrasahs and scientific environment in the region where he lived. İn this thesis, three different manuscript copies of İbnu'l-Hayyât's work named Mevâhibu'r-Rahmân fî Şerhi Risâleti İlmi'l-Beyân were used. One is the author's copy, the second is the copy of a commentator named Abdurrahman bin Halîfe, and the third is a copy whose calligrapher is unknown. In this study, the author's copy was taken as basis, but in the parts of this copy that were difficult to read, other copies were used, especially the copy whose author is unknown. Because the most readable copy is the one whose author is unknown. The annotations found in the copies were not included in this study. Some books about the author were consulted on topics such as his life, the scientific environment of his time, his teachers, his students and his works. Especially the author's books et-Tibyân fî Beyâni'n-Nâsih ve'l-Mensûh mine'l- Kurʾân and Tenbîhu'l-Asdikâʾ fî Beyâni't-Taklîd ve'l-İctihâd ve'l-İstiftâi ve'l-İftâ printed versions of his works were used.
