Abstract (EN)

WHEN DESIGNING THE BARREL, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CORRECTLY DETERMINE THE VOLUME IN THE COMBUSTION CAVITY DEPENDING ON THE INTERNAL BALLISTIC PARAMETERS AND THE AMOUNT OF GUNPOWDER IN THE CASE MOUTH. WHEN THE GUNPOWDER STARTS TO BURN IN THE BARREL, VERY HIGH PRESSURE VALUES ARE SUDDENLY FORMED IN A VERY SHORT TIME LIKE A MILLISECOND AND THE TEMPERATURE OF THE BURNED GASES RISES. THE INTERNAL SURFACE OF THE BARREL IS UNDESIREDLY EXPOSED TO HIGH HEAT FLOW FROM GASES AND CAUSES THE BARREL TO HEAT. HIGH PRESSURE VALUES FORMED INSIDE THE BARREL PUSH THE BULLET FORWARD WITH A HIGH ACCELERATION. IN THIS STUDY, A MODEL WILL BE DEVELOPED THROUGH EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES TO ANALYZE THE PRESSURE DISTRIBUTIONS AT THE BARREL MOUTH AND CHANGES IN THE SPEED OF THE BULLET BY DETERMINING THE OPTIMAL VALUE OF THE VOLUME IN THE COMBUSTION CAVITY, DEPENDING ON THE POWER POWDER RIGHT IN THE CASE MOUTH INSIDE THE BARREL.
