Abstract (EN)

This study represents an interdisciplinary research effort examining the profound impact of light on human life, with a particular emphasis on the potential effects of artificial lighting in indoor environments on human health. Light is a critical factor in space design, influencing people's emotional states, evoking positive feelings, and regulating biological rhythms. Given that light forms the cornerstone of how we perceive a space, its pivotal role in human perception and biological rhythms is undeniable. However, the irregularity of artificial lighting sources can disrupt the human biological clock and lead to health issues. This research specifically delves into the effects of artificial lighting in indoor spaces and investigates these effects within a specially designed experimental environment. The study utilizes data, including melatonin levels in the blood and sleep activities of epilepsy patients, to evaluate the impact of lighting. The findings of this research contribute to a better understanding of the significance of light in human health and emphasize the necessity of designing and implementing appropriate lighting solutions. This study aims to increase overall awareness regarding the potential positive contributions of indoor lighting designs to human health. The results of this research can play a pivotal role in enhancing our understanding of the critical role of lighting in spatial design and its positive effects on health and comfort.
