Abstract (EN)

Chemical-electrochemical coagulation and electrooxidation of vinegar industry wastewater was investigated by conventional methods of treatment. As a coagulant aluminum sulfate (Al2(SO4)318H2O) and iron (III) chloride (FeCl36H2O) was used for chemical coagulation treatability studies. Form of parallel plate electrodes of aluminum and nano coated boron-doped diamond electrodes are used for electrochemical treatment. Some important experimental parameters which are current density, pH, Na2SO4; polyaluminum chloride (PAC) and kerafloc were investigated effect on COD removal. Resistance to biological degradation of organic matter to be discharged to the environment as a result of ecological problems, instead of the conventional wastewater treatment methods directed to advanced treatment techniques makes it necessary. As a result of experimental studies, the vinegar industry wastewater treatment by using of electrochemical methods were successful because of efficient, easy and economical behaviours.
