İcmal-i Ahval-i Nadir Shah (Language review-text-dictionary-index-facsimile)

Examination of ancient texts is important both in terms of the language of the text and the subject of the text. In this study, the work called İcmal-i Ahval-i Nadir Shah, which tells about some historical events of the Nadir Shah period, was examined and it was aimed to contribute to both language studies and studies in the field of history. In this work, which belongs to the 19th century classical Ottoman Turkish period, both wars and treaties made by Nadir Shah with some countries such as the Ottoman Empire and India are the subject. The study consists of four parts with the introduction. In the introduction, the work was introduced, information was given about the author, and the life of Nadir Shah described in the work was briefly explained. In the first part, under the headings of phonetics and morphology, the grammatical features of the text are examined and shown with examples. In the second part, the text named İcmal-i Ahval-i Nadir Shah has been transcribed. In the third part, the index of the words in the text and the index of proper names were prepared.
