Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, petrol using up had been come up for discussion future of available engines. For this subject, one of developing solutions is recovery of performance of available engines, Thus, much more power and torque is obtained from engines which have the same features. Also, exhaust emissions and specific fuel consumption have been descreasing. For this aim, one of systems that have been produced is Variable Valve Timing (VVT). With these kind systems, it?s posible to achieve much more performance from engines by changing gas velocity. Volumetric efficiency has been changing based on air velocity that enters to the cylinder. By this means, oxygen that is necessary for combustion can be gotten into the cylinder much more.In this work, shifts of gas velocities that gotten into the cylinder in intake stroke by based on revolution and intake valve lift had been investigated by using Ansys Fluent 12 program. Relation had been expressed between volumetric efficiency and gas velocity with mathematical calculations. Thus, necessary conditions which keep volumetric efficiency high in all of revolution values had been investigated.
