Determination of the change of annual nutritional value and some properties of ebu cehi̇l (calligonum polygonoides l. ssp. comosum (l'hér.)) shrub growing in Iğdır ecological conditions

The study was conducted to determine the change of annual nutritional value and some properties of Ebu Cehil (Calligonum polygonoides L. ssp. comosum (L'Hér.)) shurb growing in Iğdır ecological conditions in 2013. For this purpose, HP, NDF, ADF, ADL, DMD, DE and ME contents in plant materials have been determined. Phenological observations, plant height, canopy diameter, soil amount accumulated in canopy area and change on soil of C. polygonoides also put forward. It was determined that HP, KMS, SE and ME decreased but NDF, ADF, and ADL, increased with maturation in C. polygonoides. Results showed that highest HP, DMD, DE and ME had in April (252.9 g kg-1, 76.98%, 3.56 Mcal kg-1 and 2.92 Mcal kg-1, respectively), lowest rates (75.4 g kg-1, 54.35%, 2.59 Mcal kg-1 and 2.13 Mcal kg-1, respectively) in October. However, highest rates NDF, ADF and ADL were determined in October (599.7 g kg-1, 393.2 g kg-1 and 127.8 g kg-1, respectively), lowest amounts (384.8 g kg-1, 209.7 g kg-1 ve 83.1 kg-1, respectively) in April. Phenological observations showed that it growed up between March-October. Plant continuously had been generated new shoots and flowering during vegetation and optimum growth also became between May-August. Incanopy plant high varied between 85 to 145 cm and mean canopy diameter was identified 2.77 to 3.90 m. Plants had been also accumulated the mean 2 383.19 kg soil under canopy. Subsequently, it is determined that C. polygonoides ameliorated the chemical structure of soil surface.
