Effects of varieties and phosphorus doses on yield andquality of cotton plant (gossypium hirsutum l.) culti̇vationsted in Igdır conditions

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different phosphorus doses on various cotton(Gossypium hirsitum L.)varieties on yield and quality components on Igdır conditions.Trial was conducdet randomized block factorial design with three reblications during the growing season of 2018 Observations such as sowing –out time, first combining time, first flovering period and first boll opering time as well as cotton sead yield,yarn likelihood index, fiber finnes,maturity, fiber length and uniformity shoved significant differences. Amang examined characteristics, Flash variety illvstrated superior properties when compered to other varieties.Flash variety demonstrated the earliest boll opening time (119.33days) and the highest yield (282 40 kg /da) phaspphorus doses significantly affected the number of monopodial branch number,the number of bool per plant and fiber yield characteristics.10 kg/da phosphorus dose resolted the highet sead cotton yield with 308,21 kg/da . AS a realt of the study, Flash variaty and 10 kg/da phosphorus could beadvised for cotton farmers under Igdır ecologicos conditions.
