Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the outputs in terms of lecturers and the institution in the process of MOOC presenting. Nested case study design, one of qualitative research method, was used in the study. The investigation made with two different groups. Groups were determined through purposeful sampling. The first working group consist of 7 institution employees who were assigned in managing and performing of AtademiX platform and the second working group is consist of 12 lecturers who give lessons in AtademiX platform. Semi-structured interview was prepared. Content analysis method was used in order to analysis the data collected from the interviews. According to the findings of the analysis, it was confirmed that the lecturers in the first group had an instructional technology intended sharing and tendency to distance education intended vocational improvement. It was determined that lecturers improved various education skills in terms of lecture plan, content plan, material development and presentation. It was determined that institutions that founded and carried out MOOC in the second extent, gained favour to society by contributing to knowledge generation and sharing the generated knowledge, supplied innovation for the research and development activities of the institution with the introduction of a new notion, institution's sufficiency increased in terms of distance education intended hardware, software and experience. Outputs showed up as a result of this study can be used as a source of motivation to promote the lecturers and institution for MOOC application.
