Özet (EN)

The novel is a genre that evokes aesthetic pleasure in the reader and contains various messages. The novel, which affects the feelings and thoughts of the reader, can be loaded as a criticism when appropriate. In the history of Turkish literature, there have been various periods in which criticism was a dominant element in the genre of novel. In some periods, criticism continued to exist in the work, although it was not the main element of the novel. The critical messages given in the novels where criticism is a dominant element can be conveyed directly to the reader. However, in novels where critical issues are not directly revealed, the reader can find critical messages between the lines. There are both situations mentioned in the novels in which the state and society issues are subject to criticism. The novels of İhsan Oktay Anar, which will be discussed in this respect, draw attention in that the elements of criticism are not clearly revealed. Anar presented his criticisms on the state and society in the novels to the readers between the lines. In this study, the novels of Ihsan Oktay Anar, Puslu Kıtalar Atlası, Kitab-ül Hiyal, Efrâsiyâb'ın Hikâyeleri, Amat, Suskunlar, Yedinci Gün, Galiz Kahraman and Tiamat, who are one of the most important representatives of the postmodern understanding, are discussed in the axis of criticism of the state and society.
