Psychological types in İhsan Oktay Anar novels

Carl Gustav Jung has developed many theories about the human personality and spirit. One of these theories that Jung developed is the "Psychological Types" theory, on which he has been working for twenty years. With this theory, Jung aims to deal with the individual's relationships with the world, people, and things. He defined it more specifically with the attitude types that he named as introverted and extroverted, determined by the movement of his interests or libido; It determines a total of eight clues by combining the types of functions called thinking, feeling (emotion), sensation and intuition. These eight clues are in his human. However, the dominant one differs from the other types. This theory, which arises from the need to separate Jung's point of view from other colleagues in certain aspects, affects the interpretation and analysis of the human spirit world. It is clear that this effect can be used in the analysis of its staff in literary works. With this study, İhsan Oktay Anar's novels Puslu Kıtalar Atlas, Kitab-ül Hiyel, Efrasiyab'ın Hikayeleri, Amat, Suskunlar, Yedinci Gün and Galiz Kahraman, who set up recent postmodern narrative examples, were examined with knowledge, and this study examined the types of the novels in the psychological types theory. types were seen, and it was concluded that the psychological types theory of these novel characters were compatible with the type definitions.
