Abstract (EN)
With the Westernization period in the 19th century of the Ottoman Empire, the modernization of the state enterprises that met the horses' needs of the army and the palace cause to establish new departments and Hâra-yı Hümayun's were established. The effects of this situation inevitably manifested itself in architecture. In this study, the first established Hâra-yı Hümayun in Anatolia; the Çifteler Hara-yı Hümayunu; which was established on Sultan II. Mahmud (1808-1839) and Sultan II. Abdülhamid (1876-1909) period by determining the structure / structures group, their location, according to which principles they are formed, using materials and construction techniques to document how they were built, the protection problems of existing buildings and it is aimed to determine the measures to be taken. For evaluating the buildings in the Çifteler Hara-yı Hümayunu in the term of the architectural holistic evaluation, firstly it is necessary to evaluate the farm types in the Ottoman empire and after than it is need to narrow the scope to evaluate horse farms especially "ıstabl-ı amire" and "hara-yı hümayuns". Finally "çiflikat-ı hümayuns" has been evaluated shortly. In the third part of the study, the administrative process and architectural context of Çifteler Hâra-yı Hümayunu are given. Architectural context; through II. Mahmud - Abdulhamid II. period was given as Architectural status. During the reign of Abdulhamid II., the general settlement characteristics and the structures identified were examined in four sections as in the present situation and absent in the general settlement. Zoning activities are the most intense During the reign of II. Abdülhamid, the Çifteler Hâra-yı Hümayunu included military, religious, commercial and social structures within the territory; accommodation, health, industry, education, transport and water structures; homes; animal structures; village formations were identified. It has been seen that 9 military structures / building groups have survived from the structures considered within the scope of the study. As a result of the 19th century maps, plans, photographs, archival documents of Çifteler Hâra-yı Hümayunu; it was possible to evaluate the structures in terms of location, plan, facade layout, construction technique and material. Approaches for identifying and eliminating conservation problems were tried to be determined.
