Abstract (EN)

Kal'abend Book No. 37 (1823-1824) II. Mahmut period of the movements occurred on both society and statesmen to reveal their reflectionon of crime and punishment rates are important archive sources. It is known that important steps were taken in every field during the reign of Mahmut II. The purpose of this research is to determine the nature of the project. The diversity of the crimes that arose during the reign of Mahmut II and the nature of the sentences imposed on them. The Kal'abend Book contains important information in terms of the social status of the offenders, the causes of crime, the crime scenes and the discovery of the types of punishments. In this sense, the work in question was revealed by criminal causes and was used in world war the reflections of state policies on state officials and the public during the Mahmut II. period are also important for inferences about the general social structure of society. Within the book in question, criminals for many reasons such as acts of rituals, disruption of the public order and order of the area, negligence and betrayal of government officials in their duties, theft, bribery, prostitution, etc. punished. For the most part, places such as Kütahya, Konya, Kastamonu and Dimetoka were preferred as punishment districts of criminals. Document analysis approach from qualitative research methods was used in the research. The data obtained were tried to be presented from a broad perspective.
