Abstract (EN)

The second constitutional period was very dynamic period in Turkish press history. In the envoirement of freedom created by the proclamation of the constitutional monarchy, many newspapers and journals have been published with the effect of the idea currents. In this period the Islamic World Journal has started publication as an one of the extention of Tatar- Cedit movement in Anatolia. The journal was published by the head author and owner Abdürreşid İbrahim between 1913 and 1914 under the influence of Islamism. Total 27 issue was published. Although the journal has defined its primary purpose as Ottoman Muslims sutiation, they also frequently published articles on the situations of the Muslims living in other countries. Despite being included in the constitutional press the Journal of Islamic World was not considered earlier. In this study, the articles in the Journal of Islamic World have been translated and this period tried to be explained.
