Abstract (EN)
In this study, we have developed a computer program that is capable of performing elastic and elasto-plastic analysis of two-dimensional frames, by using matrix displacement method. This program is written in C++ programming language which can calculate the limit load, load factors and locations of plastic hinges. Plastic analysis and matrix displacement method is explained in detail. Sample questions have been added to the end of the study and were compared with selected references from the literature. The sequence of plastic hinges, the load factor in each step and the load-displacement graphics were added to the sample solutions.
