Abstract (EN)
In our days the interest for learning and teaching Turkish language as a foreign language is increasing day by day. As in other languages taught as a foreign language, it is of great importance to adopt a holistic approach towards communicative acquisition from practices that focus only on linguistic skills in teaching Turkish. In this direction, it should be noted that Turkish language students should be taught speech acts as a foreign language and that their usage in accordance with daily life. The purpose of this qualitative study, to determine ways that obtained while learning, and in what extend successful and usage in different contexts of Duolingual Iraqi Turkmens. 20 Bilingual students and teachers who learned and developed Turkish language were chosen. The data were made using the open-ended question method. Considering the results of the study the individuals who attended the research are planning to increase the importance of foreign language in daily life and eliminate the obstacles which encounters foreign language speaker. When all the responses for first context are examined, the participants emphasizes it is important to learn new language, and grasp the the culture of that language will increase the the job opportunities. All the participants of the survey believes that knowledge of foreign language is increasing television, social media applications and new series and new entertainment areas. All of the participants have stressed the importance of learning Turkish as a foreign language in Iraq. Not having the writing language of Iraqi Turkmens have increased the learning of Turkish language.
