Under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, a large number of architectural monuments were built on these lands for religious, civil, military purposes. Most of these works are the structures built by the pashas who took part in important tasks of the state. The most common among them is the mosque architecture. The body walls of the rectangular mosques built on the sloping land are made with brick and stone wall technique on the outside and plastered on the inside. The upper cover of the ceiling covering the mosques is a hipped roof on the outside and wood on the inside. The part where the ceiling beams are located in both structures has been raised, giving the space a spacious appearance. Panting decorating are located in structures, on the surfaces of ceiling beams, between supports, on wooden poles and on arch surfaces.
