Abstract (EN)
The Great Patriotic War, one of the deadliest conflicts in human history, has been a significant factor in shaping Soviet Tatar literature. The first section of this study elucidates the relationship between war and literature, with a focus on Second World War Tatar literature during the war years. The second section of the study examines the publications of Sovĕt Literature journal, which has been published since 1922, during the years of the Great Patriotic War, and the war period stories based on these publications. This section begins with a comprehensive historical overview of the journal, which continued its publications under the title Soviet Literature and presents a index of the 47 monthly issues of Kazan Utları journal published between 1941 and 1945. In the third and fourth section, 86 Tatar stories published in the Sovĕt Literature journal from 1941 to 1945 are examined in structure and content. Then these stories are categorized based on their narratives, addressing themes related to the front lines and the rear, during the war. The fourth section presents the content of the stories and analyzes the 86 Tatar stories considering the artistic understanding of the period, the socialist realism orientation, Tatar traditions, and the art of war. This study is expected to make significant contributions to future comparative studies, both in the context of Tatar literature and Tatar and interdisciplinary research within the framework of the 1941-1945 index.
