Abstract (EN)
The importance of digitalization continues to increase day by day with the developing new communication technologies. Thanks to e-commerce, mobile shopping and mobile applications, consumers' traditional shopping has gained momentum towards online markets. Websites and mobile applications for the sale of second-hand clothes that contribute to sustainability in the fashion and clothing sector are examples of this. In terms of the sustainability of fashion and second-hand consumption, a study in which second-hand clothing sales websites and mobile applications are examined and analyzed has not been found in the literature before. For this reason, this study was conducted with the aim of examining the innovative and sustainability consciousness towards fashion and clothing products by examining the applications that sell second-hand clothes. In order to achieve the aim, content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to examine the content of nine websites and mobile applications selected within the scope of the research and to determine their current status. Observation forms were prepared as data collection tools. In line with the forms, the general features of the websites and mobile applications (visual, membership creation, product upload, security, categories, etc.), social media visibility, user comments and the second-hand product circulation status of the most preferred application in the monthly women's clothing category were analyzed. As a result of the research, the characteristics of the websites and mobile applications of second-hand websites were analyzed. When analyzed, it was observed that "logo", "product on the home page" and "in-site search engine" were present in all websites. It was observed that the second-hand website, which received the most comments and evaluations by female users, contained the most products in the upper clothing category. It is thought that the sites generally have a contact page, but the sites that do not provide 24/7 live support service should improve their communication elements. As a result of examining second-hand sales sites from different channels, it was concluded that the sites should include accessible features for the convenience of the users and all the features such as help, contact, categories that the user needs should be visible on the home page.
