Özet (EN)

The main source of global warming is human activities. Greenhouse gases are produced as a result of human activities in energy, industry, transportation, agriculture, forestry, waste and land use. Global warming; It poses a danger to humanity as it may cause possible problems such as drought, floods and famine. The phenomenon of climate change was first addressed internationally within the scope of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which entered into force in 1994. The Kyoto Protocol, which imposes legally binding obligations on the emerging and developed countries for limiting and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, was signed in 1997 and entered into force on February 16, 2005.
